Raymond Mazzotta throughout his extensive career has a demonstrated track record of building teams and helping leaders achieve their growth and profitability goals.

He rose quickly through the insurance industry by taking on tough challenging assignments most referred to as “fixer-uppers.” With a straightforward approach of attacking the problems not the people, he was able to garner support and build teams focused on outcomes and success. He was able to build a network of advisors that helped him succeed in the tough New York City marketplace.

After 20 years in executive roles for a Fortune 500 Company, he took the opportunity to tackle a turnaround as President & CEO of a struggling medical malpractice carrier in the Midwest. Realizing that it’s lonely at the top, he once again recognized the need to develop a network of advisors and joined a CEO Peer Advisory Group. That proved to be a good move enabling him to get the input of experienced CEO’s in the community.

He was able to turn around that company, double its net worth and enable the parent company to recoup its losses and sell the company for nice return. After the sale of the Company, Ray went on to a series of executive roles bringing his fresh leadership and collaborative approach to the table. Seeking to have more flexibility and tackle more diverse work, he joined a boutique management consulting firm in 2014.

For the last 10 years, Ray has worked with over 35 companies on a wide range of projects such as strategy development, growth and profitability, improving customer experience, streamlining processes and reducing costs, developing new operating models and organizational design and development to name a few. He has always embraced the philosophy that the “answer can always be found in the room” if you create the right environment to enable its discovery.

He has also chaired multiple non-profit boards over the past 20 years. His family recently relocated to the Research Triangle area of North Carolina to get better weather and be closer to the ocean.

Now Ray would like to give back to the community and start a CEO Peer Advisory Group in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area. CEOIQ® Peer Advisory Groups are a way for CEO’s and leaders to connect and learn from each other ‘in-person’. Check out Ray’s linkedin profile anytime and connect with him there.
