Brad Weinbrum

Brad Weinbrum is an experienced business leader who focuses on measurable results. As founder and principal of Nivalmi Consulting, LLC, he helps executives find the answers to critical questions: How can we serve our customers, develop our teams and increase our profitability.

His consulting and coaching services to CEOs and leadership teams often involve the following areas:

One of his current assignments is serving as Chief Transformation Officer for the Belknap White Group, a $600 million flooring distributor in the Northeast and the Southeast United States. His charge is to grow the bottom line, improve the ecosystem and create an employee-focused culture.

With a desire to give back and promote professional development, Mr. Weinbrum mentors others. He works as a coach/director of the Sales Leadership Council and coach/director of the CEOIQ Peer Advisory Group, where he advises sales leaders and executives of large companies on business practices. He is the current board chair of Singer Equipment and Team Focus Insurance Group.

Before founding Nivalmi, Mr. Weinbrum was president of ABB Optical Group, a New Mountain Capital portfolio company. In his more than two decades at the company, he oversaw its revenue growth from $36 million to $1.3 billion annually – making it a leading distributor of optical products in the nation. Mr. Weinbrum expanded its employee base from 27 to 1,200, created shareholder value through challenging market conditions, successfully integrated seven acquisitions and developed a company culture of trust and shared purpose.

Previously Mr. Weinbrum ran a family business, sold it to a national consolidator and became a regional executive with the parent company. In the latter role he was responsible for integrating acquired operations of companies across a wide geographic area.

A community leader, Mr. Weinbrum is a past chairman of Junior Achievement South Florida, a member of the University of Florida Alumni Board of Directors, a member of the University of Florida Hillel House Board of Directors and member of the United Way of Broward County’s Tocqueville Society. He is a lecturer at the University of Florida Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center.

Mr. Weinbrum earned a B.A. in advertising with a minor in business administration from the University of Florida. In his free time, he exercises, embraces the outdoor lifestyle in the mountains of North Carolina, spends time with his wife of 31 years and three children, cheers on the Gators and laments the Miami Dolphins.
